Since it's the last Friday of the month, I'll be sharing my monthly favourites with you. Let's get right to it.
My song of the month is an old one, Heaven by Live. I've always loved this song, but recently it's become even more amazing and true to me. Listen to the lyrics and you'll see why. :)
And then, in no particular order, my favourites. All of these can be found on my Pinterest boards, except if stated otherwise.
My favourite beauty looks of the month are these ones. I've been doing a lot of research into fantasy makeup, which brought me to face painting. I really hope to do something similar one day! These are amazing!! The last of the four is a more wearable look.
I've also been looking into a whole lot of photography poses and ideas, which is how I found these images. Man, oh man, I love them. The colour and composition in the first two, while the unusual angle of the last one makes it my favourite.
Photography also brings me to baby photography ideas. :)
This is my favourite picture of the month. I took a series of pics with my phone and used Pixlr express (a pretty cool free app) to create the collage.
My product of the month is Essence Express Dry Spray for nail varnish. I bought mine at R34.95 from Dischem, and I LOVE IT!! It really does dry the nails much quicker than the air would, and leaves them less smudgible (yes, I just made up that word) a lot sooner. Sure, I still wrecked my nails a time or two, but the damage would have been much more profound if it hadn't been for the spray. What? I'm impatient by nature!! :)
Funnies for the month :
Craft and food ideas :
I absolutely love this steampunk butterfly headpiece. This is friggen awesome!!! I wants me one!! In face, I like this whole picture. It's really cool!
Above is one of the most amazing quotes I've read in a long time. I've added it here because of its beauty and the truth around it too. The same thing can be said for fathers, siblings and grandparents.
The following image is called Designer Skyline, by LOYproject on DeviantArt. Epic.
My series of the month is The Blacklist, with James Spader. It's a pretty involved series, but I adore it. If you like crime drama with a twist, a lot of intrigue and surprises along the way, this is the one for you.
I don't have a movie or a book of the month, because we haven't watched a single movie (sad, I know), and I've been editing my own novel. Which, by the way, is going to be finished way ahead of schedule, because of an incredibly brilliant editor. Watch this space.
And that's all I have for you this week. Tune in again on Monday for another blog post! Have a fabulous weekend!!
Stay beautiful and be kind to animals,
