My weekend in Pictures : Get togethers with the girls!

Hello beauties!

Welcome back to this little bloggie! I hope you had a fantabulous (yeah, I just made up a word) weekend! I'll share some pics from mine in a moment.

First I want to talk about something else real quick. Liani and I, along with some friends and family, are going to attempt the Sisters with Blisters walk, sponsored by Jacaranda FM. This is a 5km walk on 22 November from Monte Casino in Fourways and is to raise awareness (and funds for charities) against women and children's abuse. You can read more deets on their website, but I'd love to meet you there! Come and walk with us!

Folks, my weekend was crazy. I'm still recovering from it. And with the big birthday party coming up on Saturday, I might just collapse before midweek... Oh, you don't know, do you. Kayla's turning one on the 8th of November and we're having her party on Saturday. Can you handle the fact that the baby will soon be a toddler? Scary. Stuff.

I didn't take that many photos this weekend, but I do have some to share. Here they are.

We spent a lot of the day in the garden on Friday. We had such amazing weather that we couldn't ignore it and we had to be outside. I also wrote a bunch. If all goes according to plan, I might just wrap up book three (aka the-book-that-cannot-be-named-because-the-writer-has-no-idea-what-to-call-it) this week. But I digress. Photos.

We headed over to Centurion on Saturday to have a look at the Irene market. We met Liani and her family there and had a quick visit.

From the market we went on to visit this lovely creature and her fiance! And don't you just love her new hairdo? Rita-Mari's blog is pretty awesome, go have a look.

From our visit with Rita and Andre, we went on to Lizanne and Lorenzo's for a slice of cake. She had her birthday this week and what's a birthday without cake?

Sunday we went shopping and had lunch with my parents. When we got home, I started working on my daughter's birthday party stuff. First on my list was making some ladybugs for the kiddie's party packs. I'll show you the finished products next week! No sneaky peekies!!

Have a great week folks!

Stay beautiful and be kind to animals,

Yolandie
